JOB TITLE:                         Sr. Associate, Test Engineering

FLSA STATUS:                   Non-Exempt/ $27.00-$30.00 with additional bonus plan

RATE:                                 Based on Experience

Hours:                               Mon-Thurs 7:00-4:30  Fri 7:00-11:00

POSITION SUMMARY:  Reporting to the Lead Test Engineer, the candidate must have working knowledge and understanding of electrical theory. The candidate must have prior experience and operating knowledge of test equipment as well as a solid understanding of test plans and procedures.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support internal production testing based on daily, and weekly production plans
  • Able to handle changing priorities based on customer needs
  • Ensuring proper bench test set up and configuration
  • Maintain and monitor test equipment
  • Familiarity with test equipment(s), spectrum analyzer, power meter, oscilloscope, etc
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with communication systems and interfaces
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years of electrical related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 5 years of prior related experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing or operations test environment
  • Occasional travel up to 10% may be required.
  • Self-starter – able to work with minimum supervision
  • Able to sufficiently multi-task and change direction

 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in SATCOM
  • Experience with military specifications (MIL-STD-810G) and standards (MIL-STD)
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with configuration management – formal releases of test procedures, operational impact, and throughput impact.
  • Strong understanding of RF theory and concepts

 

 

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
