HOURS: Mon-Thurs 7:00-4:30 Fri 7:00-11:00
SALARY RANGE: 22.00-27.00 an hour

POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Logistics Specialist will be assisting in developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized. The incumbent will also be responsible for interplant transfer of materials between locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of warehouse equipment such as a forklifts, pallet jacks, a box truck, and a foam in place machine
- Assist with interplant transfers of material
- Make shipping arrangements daily
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations
- Assist with operational needs such as mechanical assembly
- Responsible for maintenance of company mechanical assets (trucks, forklifts, etc)
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Forklift certification
- Basic mechanical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- MIL-129 labeling experience
- MIL-130 labeling experience
- Strong understanding of serial number genealogy for government property submissions
- Experience using Wide Area Work Flow
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
