JOB TITLE: Electrical Engineer

Salary Range: $80,000 – $150,000 based on experience and an additional annual bonus

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer to design, develop, test, release, improve, and support advanced satellite communication products. This role provides broad exposure across system architecture, hardware design, manufacturing, and product lifecycle engineering with a strong customer-focused mindset.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, software, RF, test, and manufacturing engineers to develop new communication systems and continuously improve existing platforms. Engineers in this role have significant ownership and are directly involved in rapidly developing and delivering production-ready hardware — not just prototypes — through fielding and customer support.

This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical problems in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, working across multiple engineering disciplines, and seeing their designs transition into real-world fielded systems.

Key Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

• Lead electrical and system-level design for satellite communication terminals.

• Architect and develop hardware solutions from concept through product lifecycle support.

• Specify, design, validate, troubleshoot, and support printed circuit boards and electronic subsystems.

• Develop and improve manufacturing test procedures while supporting production teams.

• Participate in certification and compliance testing for both commercial and military standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.

• Work with suppliers and contractors to select components and manage technical trade-offs.

• Support product lifecycle activities including updates, enhancements, sustaining, and field issue resolution.

• Contribute to technical innovation, usability improvements, and time-to-market initiatives.

• Assist with BOM management, long-lead planning, and engineering schedule coordination.

Required Qualifications

JOB TITLE: System Level Assembler C

Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Friday 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM 

 

Position Overview 

The System Level Assembler C is responsible for the mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical assembly of advanced Satellite Communications (SATCOM) systems at both the system and sub-system level. This role focuses on integrating complex assemblies — including RF components, enclosures, cable harnesses, and electronics — into fully functional SATCOM products in accordance with engineering documentation, quality standards, and production schedules. 

This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret technical documentation, and hands-on experience working within a regulated manufacturing environment supporting mission-critical communication systems. 

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on technical work, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and want to contribute directly to the production of advanced SATCOM technologies used in demanding operational environments. 

 

Key Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned) 

  • Perform system-level assembly of SATCOM products including racks, terminals, antenna subsystems, power units, and electronics enclosures.
  • Assemble and integrate mechanical, electrical, RF, and electromechanical sub-assemblies.
  • Install and route cable harnesses, coaxial cables, waveguides, connectors, and fasteners per engineering drawings and torque specifications.
  • Perform precision assembly using hand tools, torque drivers, crimp tools, and measurement equipment.
  • Interpret and follow engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs, work instructions, and ECNs.
  • Accurately complete manufacturing documentation, travelers, and quality records.
  • Identify and escalate discrepancies, non-conformances, or documentation issues.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Test teams to resolve assembly-related issues.
  • Maintain compliance with ESD, FOD, and workmanship standards including IPC, J-STD, or internal manufacturing standards.
  • Participate in lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide feedback to Engineering regarding assembly efficiency and design for manufacturability improvements.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Support engineering builds, prototypes, and production activities as needed.

Required Qualifications 

  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical or trade school education preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in system-level assembly within SATCOM, aerospace, defense, telecommunications, or other high-reliability manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Experience with cable harness assembly, cable routing, torque specifications, and mechanical fastener installation.
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with large or complex assemblies.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during production activities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow structured manufacturing processes while adapting to build variations and evolving production requirements.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance required.

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience assembling SATCOM ground systems, terminals, or antenna systems.
  • Familiarity with RF components including LNAs, BUCs, filters, waveguides, and coaxial systems.
  • IPC-A-610, IPC-WHMA-A-620, or similar manufacturing certifications.
  • Experience working within ISO 9001 or AS9100 manufacturing environments.
  • Basic troubleshooting experience involving electrical or system-level issues.
  • Experience supporting engineering builds, prototype development, or NPI programs.

Position Overview

The Manufacturing Engineer supports the development, production, and continuous improvement of precision components and assemblies used in defense applications. This role works closely with engineering, quality, supply chain, and production to ensure products are manufacturable, compliant, cost-effective, and delivered on schedule. This position requires versatility and a hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities (Other Duties as assigned):

Manufacturing & Process Engineering

  • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for machined parts, assemblies, and electromechanical systems
  • Create and maintain routings, work instructions, manufacturing plans, and bills of materials (BOMs)
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) from prototype through low- and mid-rate production
  • Evaluate design for manufacturability (DFM) and provide feedback to design engineering

Production Support

  • Provide day-to-day engineering support to the shop floor to resolve production issues
  • Troubleshoot tooling, fixturing, equipment, and process-related problems
  • Support make/buy decisions and assist with supplier technical evaluations

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with applicable standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, and MIL-SPEC requirements
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities
  • Assist with first article inspections (FAI), process validations, and audits
  • Maintain accurate manufacturing documentation in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements

Continuous Improvement & Cost Reduction

  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cost and improve throughput
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies where appropriate
  • Support capital equipment justification and implementation

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in aerospace or defense industries
  • Strong understanding of machining, fabrication, assembly, and inspection processes
  • Experience creating technical documentation and work instructions
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
  • Hands-on problem-solving ability and independent work capability

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a small or mid-sized manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with AS9100, ITAR, and Department of Defense contract requirements
  • Experience supporting low-volume, high-mix production
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g. inventor, AutoCAD) and manufacturing documentation systems.
  • Hands on technical capabilities in mechanical and electromechanical builds.

Position Overview

The Material Handler plays a critical role in supporting the efficient production of advanced Satellite Communications (SATCOM) systems, components, and assemblies. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, moving, issuing, and tracking materials throughout the manufacturing process to ensure production teams have the right materials at the right time.

This role supports inventory accuracy, receiving and shipping activities, production material staging, and the movement of raw materials and finished goods throughout the manufacturing environment. The Material Handler will also contribute to Lean Manufacturing, 5S+1, and continuous improvement initiatives that support operational efficiency and on-time delivery.

This position is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a hands-on manufacturing environment where material accuracy and timely movement directly impact production and customer delivery.

Key Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and components.
  • Accurately complete inventory and material transactions.
  • Pick, stage, and replenish materials for production work orders.
  • Maintain material traceability, labeling, organization, and inventory accuracy.
  • Conduct cycle counts and support physical inventory activities.
  • Support receiving, shipping, and warehouse organization.
  • Prepare and palletize outgoing shipments on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Move and transfer raw materials and finished goods throughout the manufacturing value stream.
  • Prepare and package finished goods for shipment.
  • Handle sensitive electronic and RF components in accordance with applicable quality and handling standards.
  • Safely operate applicable material-handling equipment.
  • Participate in Lean Manufacturing, 5S+1, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support on-time production by ensuring materials are accurately staged and available when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
