JOB TITLE Project Manager, Service Operations
REPORTS TO VP Operations and Programs
FLSA: Exempt
PAY: $60,000-$70,000

This position will report to the VP Programs. The Project Manager, Service Operations will be responsible for ensuring customer expectations are exceeded in all business areas on assigned projects. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, this role is cross functional with Program Management, Operations, and Engineering departments.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and execute plans and responsibilities for assigned projects
- Utilize program management best practices to ensure successful execution of programs.
- Continuous risk assessment and risk mitigation strategy on assigned projects
- Define process improvement opportunities and drive implementation
- Maintain constant communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuous flow of programmatic information
- Understand implications of program status on business commitments and ensure timely & clear communication to management
- Process warranty and customer equipment return
- Ensure timely return of upgraded and repaired equipment to end users
- Coordinate logistics requirements on assigned projects
- Communicate seamlessly with all levels of management and customers
- Investigate and resolve issues with urgency
- Contractual requirement awareness and cognizance
- Keeps supervisor informed of all activities and carries out other assignments as assigned
- Continue to assess projects for new business opportunities
- Support customer visits, including sales calls and equipment deliveries
- Collaborate with Lite Coms team to create and develop cutting edge products
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree or minimum 2-3 year relevant experience
- Detail oriented with ability to manage complexity in a fast-paced environment
- Bias for action
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to cross train to gain proficiency in other test related tasks as assigned
- Leadership skills and ability to drive change
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel software
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- Experience working with a technical product(s)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Engineering Change Notifications and manufacturing effectivity
- Experience with communications products or networking equipment
- Understanding of fundamental manufacturing principals for electromechanical assembly
- Experience with product/serial genealogy

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. No Dual Citizenship.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment is that of a typical electronic assembly operation with occasional exposure to dust, vapors, heat, cold and noise.
