Salary                               $90,000-$130,000

This position will report to the VP Operations/Programs. The Program Manager will be responsible for the successful, on-time execution of Lite Coms programs with the US DOD Customers and for ensuring customer expectations are met, while also meeting the fiscal goals of the programs. The Sr Program Manager will work with Operations, Planners, Supply Chain, Engineering, IT and Security to meet all customer needs.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strive to achieve #CustomerDelight in all areas of business globally.
  • Meet financial and schedule commitments of assigned international programs.
  • Utilize program management best practices to ensure successful execution of global programs.
  • Define moderate to substantial improvement opportunities for the company and drive the implementation of these improvements internationally.
  • Provide technical direction on VSAT program-related engineering development efforts across different regions.
  • Be fully cognizant of contractual requirement implications in various countries.
  • Collaborate with the Management group in support of international program bids, quotations, and proposals.
  • Work with the Sales Team to grow program revenue and identify/close adjacent requirements with international customers.
  • Engage in negotiating international programs & suppliers’ agreements.
  • Continue to assess programs for new business opportunities globally.
  • Communicate seamlessly with all levels of management and international customers.
  • Understand implications of program status on business commitments and ensure timely & clear communication to senior management.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all post-sale and program execution customer interaction internationally.
  • Maintain constant communication to ensure a healthy flow of programmatic information across different regions.
  • Support customer visits, including sales calls and equipment deliveries internationally.
  • Work with operations and engineering on internal and external testing activities globally.
  • Actively participate in design reviews, test rollouts, and implementation of new products internationally.
  • Collaborate with the Lite Coms team to create and develop cutting-edge products for the global market.
  • Keep supervisor informed of all activities and carry out other assignments as directed.

 

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 to 7 years relevant experience.
  • S government program management background required.
  • SATCOM Knowledge preferred.
  • Understand of fundamental manufacturing principals for electromechanical assembly
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to cross train to gain proficiency in other test related tasks as assigned.
  • Ability to manage complexity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with technical product(s) required.

 

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to drive change.
  • Experience with communications products or networking equipment strongly preferred.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel software; ability to conduct internet research and effectively use email.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. No Dual Citizenship.

WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment is that of a typical electronic assembly operation with occasional exposure to dust, vapors, heat, cold and noise.
